Jools O’Brien is a joint venture between Chris O’Brien and Julie Nobes. After more than three decades of running independent business’ and with a range of complementary skills, Chris and Julie decided to merge their individual expertise to provide a customer experience that would encompass a concept to completion Design and Build Service. Retaining traditional values and applying them in a progressive way has provided their clients with a more cost and time effective way of managing their projects.
Chris O’Brien is an experienced and innovative builder. He has worked extensively in and around Cardiff, in particular the Pontcanna area of Cardiff. Having an eye for detail and spatial design is important when you need to maximise floor space especially when the space is limited, Chris has transformed many “Dead Spaces” that lay dark and dormant into spaces that radiate light and bring new energy into the property. Chris has a passion for the outdoors which inspired him to build an outdoor living space at his own home. His outdoor designs which incorporate Italian styled brick pizza ovens create an atmospheric space on a summers evening or an autumn night. Such was the success of this space that Chris has been commissioned to build several more for friends and clients in spaces that would otherwise not be used in the garden due to lack of sunlight. Chris is the Construction Director at Jools O’Brien; his expertise will be utilised to take clients from the planning stage to completion.
